The chemical dosing tanks contain the liquid that is to be dosed. A pump draws in a measured amount of the additive and injects it into the tank in a controlled fashion. The treated liquid then continues its journey in the treatment system.
You will find various chemical dosing tanks and swimming pool dosing tanks. Our customised tanks will ensure you have the right tank and accessories for your needs.
The chemical dosing tanks are used in the treatment of water, e.g., hypochlorite dosing to sterilise supplies, in treating effluent and sewage and process control sectors in the industry. Our chemical dosing tank is made from rotationally moulded MDPE (medium density polyethene) or PP (Polypropylene Plastic), which is resistant to chemicals and corrosion.
Many types of processes may be required, and several types of equipment are needed to work with the chemical storage tanks. Some of the tasks include:
The tanks are UV stabilised and available in black for use with chemicals such as Sodium Hypochlorite and Hydrogen Peroxide, which are UV sensitive. Natural tanks are used for these chemicals which the translucent walls show the level inside the tank.
You can see our chemical dosing tanks here.
Fabricated Bunds & Drip trays are often used in chemical dosing and plant rooms. These drip trays are entirely acid resistant, for use with a wide range of chemicals and liquids. Enduramaxx often customises these to incorporate pump mounting plates, mixer, and pipe framework to incorporate dosing pump systems. This ensures that the containers and any potential spill zones around the pump system are fully bunded, and therefore provides a safe environment for your engineers.
There are many ways we can customise your dosing tanks for you and here are some of them:
Fill the dosing tank safely by pressure delivery or drum pump. The connections comprise a tank connector, 90-degree elbow, male Camlock connector and dust cap. There must be a vent on the tank which must be larger than the inlet pipe and able to allow the overflow to enter the bund.
Excess fluid is diverted into a low-level bund in the event of an overflow.
You can mount your electric mixer on these plates. These are designed to support the weight of small mixers and is manufactured from PE. For heavier mixers, we recommend our floor-mounted mixer frames. You can see more details here.
You can mount your dosing pump on the shelf rather than on top of the tank. The pump shelf is manufactured from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and welded to the tank. These are also used to mount chemical dosing pumps.
For adding polymers to mixer dosing tanks.
A 3 Way chemical resistant ball valve.
Our stands are manufactured from coated steel. These are used where you need access to the bottom of the tank or where flooded pumps are used.
We have a vast range of chemical dosing tanks, with capacities ranging from 50 litres to 1500 litres. Tank bunds are also available to increase safety when storing hazardous substances. Our cylindrical dosing tanks include a flat raised section shelf section which can be used to mount equipment on top of the tank. This is ideal for mounting items such as dosing pumps, industrial mixers, and instrumentation.
Enduramaxx holds a large stock of popular sizes including 500 litres dosing tanks and 1000 litre dosing tanks for quick delivery. Many of these tanks and dosing tanks bunds are available for next-day delivery. We can also customise them according to your requirements. For more details, please get in touch on 01778 301530.
