With the addition of low profile 2,200 litre and 2,800 litre Industrial Storage tanks to our established range of both 1.5SG and 2.0SG tanks we can now offer 54 Industrial Tanks suitable for a wide variety of chemicals and uses across the whole spectrum of businesses within the manufacturing sector.
Available in sizes from 150 litres up to 30,000 litres and wall thicknesses designed for containment of liquids up to 1.5SG and from 1.5SG to 2.0SG, we are also able to offer individual customisation to meet clients’ specific needs such as additional bulkheads, welded flanges and more.
Produced using the latest rotationally moulded technologies and UV-stabilised polyethylene granules ensures our tanks are strong, durable and free from corrosion. The tanks are 100% rustproof and are manufactured by us at our factory in Lincolnshire. They are designed with a smooth interior to resist the growth of algae and bacteria and are available in a variety of colours with the black tanks all being WRAS approved (supplied with a Bye Law 30 kit and optional AB Airgap fitted at time of manufacture).
The tanks are suitable for the storage of the following chemicals: Ferric Chloride, Caustic Soda, ‘AUS-40 urea solution (AdBlue), Acetic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hydroxide and Chlorine. The 2.0SG tank allows any of the above chemicals to be stored at a constant temperature of up to 40°C.
Popular uses include the primary treatment and clarification of liquids, sludge handling and treatment of dirty water, dissolved air floatation tanks, nutrient removal systems, aerobic/anaerobic digestion tanks, chemical and biological treatment tanks, bio-diesel tanks and chemical storage tanks. They are widely used in the brewing and food industry and have applications across the construction and civil engineering sectors.
Where conventional polyethylene tanks are not considered suitable, customers wishing to store or treat more aggressive chemicals should consider using our Cross-Link Chemical Tanks (XLPE) suitable for liquids up to a temperature of 70°C or our Polyvinylidene Fluoride Tanks (PVDF). Polyvinylidene Fluoride tanks are designed to provide outstanding chemical resistance at room and high temperature, low permeability to hydrocarbons, high rigidity and excellent flame retardation. They are used extensively in the chemical, semi-conductor, medical and defence industries.
