New slimline fire sprinkler water tanks – Fire Sprinkler Water Tanks, otherwise known as firefighting water storage tanks, are designed to safely store water to feed fire sprinkler systems or for on-site firefighting water storage. Enduramaxx has recently added additional sizes of water tanks to our range of slimline water tanks which are available with Fluid Category 5 backflow prevention air gap turret and weir.
These water break tanks are fitted with the letterbox weir, screened mesh to prevent the ingress of dust and insects and a cowl over the weir to stop light having direct contact with the water in the tank. Specific requirements of BS EN 12845 and BS 9251 for firefighting water storage should be closely followed too to ensure automatic fire sprinkler systems and fire protection systems are fit for purpose and meet the relevant requirements of industry standards and hazard classification

These fire water tanks come which come under Fluid Category 5 AB Air Gap break tank requirements are also available as an insulated tank to prevent heat gain in plant rooms or heat loss if sited outside. For outside installations care should be taken to make sure that all pipework and float valves are adequately lagged, or trace heated to prevent water freezing in the pipes. Fire sprinkler water tanks for agriculture and construction
Our range of large firefighting sprinkler water storage tanks is designed to store large amounts of water for fire-fighting purposes at commercial, construction, industrial sites and agricultural farms. Construction sites are areas potentially with fuel and building work, a lot of construction sites require 45,000 litres (10,000 gallons) of water on-site as a legal or insurance requirements. In agriculture, a lot of farms can be isolated from mains water supplies but also sometimes combine rainwater harvesting and farm water use with these tanks.
