PVDF tanks are designed to provide outstanding chemical resistance at room and high temperature, low permeability to hydrocarbons, high rigidity and excellent flame retardation. They are used extensively in the chemical, semi-conductor, automotive, electronics, telecommunications, medical, aerospace and defence industries. Additionally, they are designed for use as processing tanks, water treatment tanks and in ultrapure water applications.
Enduratank’s PVDF tanks are constructed using Matrix Polymer’s Revolve 2850 Fluoropolymer and the latest in seamless, rotationally moulded technology which guarantees strength, impact resistance and durability.
A fluoropolymer is a polymer that contains molecules of carbon and fluorine which is a high-performance plastic material used in either harsh chemical or high-temperature environments where a critical performance specification must be met. PVDF is inert to many aggressive acids and bases up to 140°C and is resistant to abrasion.
The benefit of using PVDF tanks as opposed to steel tanks is the combination of the rapid and easy installation of the tank and the cost factors involved. PVDF tanks are substantially lighter, easier to handle and cheaper to manufacture than steel tanks.
Our range of 22 PVDF tanks comes in 21 sizes from 250 litres up to 10,000 litres and includes vertical, chemical dosing and closed top cone (conical bottom) tanks.
