Correct Boiler Chemical Storage, Enduramaxx manufactures a range of dosing and bunded tanks for storage of boiler water treatment chemicals storage tanks for water treatment companies and boiler management companies. A badly treated steam boiler is a potential bomb, so getting the feed water quality and boiler water chemistry correct is critical and that means using tried and tested chemicals.
A complete water treatment programme for a steam boiler will usually include a chemical oxygen scavenger, alkalinity builder and polymer sludge conditioner and, depending on the application, may also incorporate a phosphate treatment and a condensate line treatment.
Enduramaxx recommends these chemicals are stored in chemical dosing tanks with secondary containment which is in line with HSE recommend for storage of toxic and flammable chemicals. More details can be found online here on the HSE website.
MDPE Chemical Dosing Tanks
Our range of chemical dosing tanks is a rotational moulded UV stabilised, one-piece chemical tank ensuring durability and long life. These tanks are suitable with a wide range of oxidising chemicals and reagents which are used in the boiler chemical treatment and swimming pool industry. Generally, volumes of chemical stored are quite small, 50 litres to 300 litres however these stepped lid dosing tanks are available up to 1500 litres.
The chemical dosing tanks are manufactured with a raised flat shelf, which is designed so that dosing equipment can be mounted on top of the tank. We can offer fill pipes, BSP outlets and flanges for where flooded suction pumps are being used.
Chemical Storage Bund Tanks
Open and closed bunds are available to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and to provide containment in the event of the tank becoming compromised. The bund tanks which have a 100% volume of the tanks are available to purchase online here.
Custom Colours for Different Chemicals
Many installers use different coloured bunds or tanks to designate different chemical being stored. This helps prevent the incorrect chemical from being put in the tank during filling. More details on the colours we can manufacture the bunds in are available here.
