Large Plastic WRAS Approved Drinking Water Tanks

Our Large WRAS Approved Drinking Water Tanks are suitable for storage of cold drinking water up to 40,000 litres. These water tanks are available in various colours – black, natural (translucent – only for use inside) and Blue – and are food-grade for storage of stock of foodstuffs and drinks. Being rotationally moulded these tanks have a smooth interior to allow easy cleaning and UV stabilised for many years of use outside.

Our Large DWI Approved Drinking Water Tanks meet the specific requirements of Regulation 31.  Drinking Water Inspectorate Water – Regulation 31 ensures that water suppliers, when producing and distributing drinking water, only use products and substances that do not cause any detrimental effects on the safety or quality of the drinking water”.

What Are DWI Approved Drinking Water Approvals?

These Regulations came into effect in England in 2016 in order to comply with Article 10 of the Council of the European Union Drinking Water Directive (DWD) and applies to England and Wales. It covers all chemicals and construction products used by drinking water providers from the water’s source to the delivery point at individual consumers’ premises. Scotland and Northern Ireland are covered under their own legislation which mirrors that of England and Wales and suppliers of products and chemicals authorised by the DWI under Regulation 31 are also authorised under Scotland’s Regulation 33 and Northern Ireland’s Regulation 30.

Large Insulated Water tanks

These plastic water tanks are available with external institution for where temperature regulation is key and for the prevention of overheating or freezing of liquids. This plastic tanks have an insulation system engineered to prevent condensation and effectively reduce thermal and energy loss.

Fluid Category 5 Drinking Water Tanks

Our fluid category 5 break tank for potable and non-potable water are all fully DWI approved and meet the specific requirements of Regulation 31.  These Type AB Air Gap Break Tank Cat 5 are fitted with a cowled overflow to prevent the ingress of light into the tank and a stainless-steel mesh to prevent the ingress of debris into the tank. Rotational Moulded Large Plastic Water Tanks
