Enduramaxx Primary Water Treatment Tank Range

Enduramaxx primary water treatment tank range is now all listed on the website including the standard clarification tanks, 3 stage mixer tanks and bulk store sludge tanks.

Enduramaxx’s primary water treatment and effluent storage tank offering includes our most popular products and some of the water treatment industry’s most innovative storage tank products. We mould plastic chemical tanks at our factory in Baston, Lincolnshire and our team works closely with our clients to offer the best possible advice and solutions to ensure every project is a success.

What is Primary Water Treatment?

Primary Water Treatment Tanks is the primary sedimentation stage. Sewage or effluent flows through large tanks, commonly called “settling basins”, “primary sedimentation tanks” or “primary clarifiers”. The clarification tanks are used to settle sludge while grease and oils rise to the surface and are skimmed off. Primary settling tanks are usually equipped with mechanically driven scrapers that continually drive the collected sludge towards a hopper in the base of the tank where it is pumped to sludge treatment facilities. Grease and oil from the floating material can sometimes be recovered for saponification (soap-making).

What Does Primary Water Treatment Remove?

Primary water treatment removes material that will either float or readily settle out by gravity. It includes the physical processes of screening, comminution, grit removal, and sedimentation. Screens are made of long, closely spaced, narrow metal bars. They block floating debris such as wood, rags, and other bulky objects that could clog pipes or pumps. In modern plants, the screens are cleaned mechanically, and the material is promptly disposed of by burial on the plant grounds.

Enduramaxx primary Water Treatment Tank includes the following

Here we run over more on applications for these ranges

Primary Water Treatment Chemical Tanks

Primary Water Treatment Chemical Tanks, in primary water treatment a lot of hard chemicals are used.  Enduramaxx offers a range of bespoke chemical storage tanks to give the ability to bulk store the chemical required.  These tanks are bespoke storage packages based on the requirements of your application.

Enduramaxx Bunded Chemical Tanks

Secondary Containment for Dosing Tanks

Bunded or outer skinned tanks for dosing chemicals is challenging with corrosive chemicals, requirements for power and mounting apparatus for pumps.  With the ability to make these completely bespoke cabinets, we can work to space you have for your project.

Clarification Tanks

Dirty water (contaminated liquid) enters the tank from the top via a central pipe where particles and sediment sink to the base of the cone.  The clean water rises to the top of the tank and flows over launder rings into an outer ‘liner’ from where it is piped away. A PN16 outlet in the cone allows complete flush down and a PN16 flange at the base of the side of the cone permits sludge removal. A heavy-duty galvanised support frame together with a top fitting mixing unit is supplied as standard.

Coagulation Tanks

Coagulation, in the field of chemistry, is a process in which colloids come out of suspension in the form of floc or flake, either spontaneously or due to the addition of a clarifying agent. The action differs from precipitation in that, prior to flocculation, colloids are merely suspended in a liquid and not actually dissolved in a solution. In the flocculated system, there is no formation of a cake, since all the flocs are in the suspension.

Flocculation Tanks

Primary Water Treatment Flocculation Tanks 2 or 3 stage flash mixer with double weirs and mixer bridge.  Conventional coagulation, flocculation or sedimentation practices are essential pre-treatments in a 2 Stage Flocculation Tank for a range of water purification systems. Flocculent chemicals are used in water treatment processes for the removal of unwanted solids and contamination to produce cleaner, safer, and potentially drinkable water. Other applications include sewage treatment, cheese production, and brewing. It is also used in surface and physical chemistry, biology, and civil engineering.

Chemical Dosing Tanks

Anyone who works with chemicals needs to store them safely and these moulded PE or PP Dosing Tanks are specifically designed for use within the water treatment, purification, chemical dosing, and storage applications.  A flat raised section shelf section is ideal for mounting items such as dosing pumps, industrial mixers, and instrumentation.

Conical Pre-Treatment Tanks

Our Cone Tanks are otherwise known as Conical or Cone Bottom Tanks are frequently used in applications requiring settlement or clarification of liquids or the bulk removal of solids from wastewater. Cone Tanks allow for the full drainage of tank contents for quality control and the elimination of particulate.

Popular uses for these Conical Pre-Treatment Tanks include:

  • Industrial holding and mix tank storage
  • Processing tank
  • Water storage tank
  • Settlement or sludge tanks
  • Processing tanks
  • Water treatment tanks
  • Chemical tank
  • Clarification tank

Conical Effluent Sludge Tanks

Effluent Sludge Settlement Tanks are a key part of operations in a wastewater treatment plant used for storage of raw effluent, treated effluent and final effluent.  The aim of operating a sludge tank is to hold sludge after it has been removed from the wastewater treatment system, settle out sludge further so more water can be recovered and further digest the sludge before disposing of. Some have aeration and mixing that is delivered by mechanical and electrical means which aids digestion of the sludge that has accumulated.
