At Enduramaxx, we often get asked several common questions about our range of water bowsers. Here are answers to the main ones. If you’ve got a question that isn’t covered here, please feel free to call us directly on 01778 562810 and we’ll be happy to discuss your requirements in person.
- What Is a Water Bowser?
A water bowser is a mobile water tank. The tank is mounted on a wheeled trailer that makes transportation and filling easy, as it can be pulled by a vehicle around site to the right location.
- Can I Hold Drinking Water In The Bowser?
Of course. We have a range of water bowsers specifically designed to safely store drinking water for humans or livestock, since they’re made of quality food-grade plastic and comply with Drinking Water Inspectorate requirements.
- How Long Will My Bowser Last?
A well maintained polyethylene water bowser like the ones we manufacture at Enduramaxx will last you years. The specific lifespan varies depending on the water temperature, level of UV exposure, and whether the tank has any extra fittings or accessories attached, among other things. However, as a rule of thumb, a high quality water bowser can last 20 years.
-Are Your Water Bowsers UV Resistant?
Yes. We know that exposure to direct sunlight affects water quality and can encourage bacterial growth, especially when water is in storage. That’s why we use advanced UV stabilisation techniques to manufacture every Enduramaxx water bowser, since this ensures that the plastic they’re made of doesn’t degrade under natural sunlight conditions.
